MATEI Bogdan

Bogdan Matei is a lawyer, member of the Dolj Bar since 2000. His vast litigious experience, but also his extensive activity in legal counselling have led towards a professional attitude focused on negotiation, on obtaining fast and efficient professional results.

In 2002, he became acquainted with mediation as a process and as a profession, becoming one of the first active mediators involved in the amicable settlement of disputes in Romania.

As a mediator, trainer, and expert in the mediation field, Mr. Matei has participated in important projects: involvement in the legislative process - as a result Law… was voted; mediator training – with the aim of assuring the best formal education in the field, without disregarding the sets of best practices published in those states where ADR is already tradition; system development; information dissemination – with the aim of both promoting the profession through seminars, conferences etc., but equally to educate beneficiaries on the advantages of ADR, mediation in particular.

Specializing in business law and labour law, Bogdan Matei has successfully brought the experience gained from investigating complex cases into the mediation processes which involved these institutions of law.

Mr. Matei is a founding member of several organizations working in the field of mediation: Craiova Mediation Centre Association, Bucharest Mediation Centre Association, the organization "Network of Cross-Border Mediators" specialized in mediating cross-border family disputes with intercultural specificity.

Currently, his professional activity is oriented towards providing mediation services to individuals or professionals, adapted to the challenges of the current judicial system.

The credibility, perspective and unique skills acquired in over 20 years of practice, contribute to the successful outcome of all the cases that fall into his area of ​​interest.
